Brandon Morris attributes every good thing in his life to the mercy and kindness of God. He was raised in meth houses in Oakdale, CA, near Yosemite. From a young age, he argued with anyone he considered religious. He hated Christianity and Christians especially. He was addicted to drugs and other vices from the time he was 8 years old. One day he was invited to a Christian youth group where the leaders were kind and patient and loving towards him. He still didn’t believe in Christianity but he stuck around to see what these people were about.
After being challenged to weigh the facts about Christianity to discover whether it were true or not, he joined a Bible study to disprove the Bible. He started reading through the Bible and the book The Case For Christ by Lee Strobel. He hadn’t made it halfway through either before he was confronted with the plain and obvious fact that Jesus was who He said He was and Christianity is true and he received Jesus as Lord at 16 years old.
Since then Brandon has worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for multiple ambulance companies, a 9-1-1 call taker, a ranch hand, a Starbucks barista, and most recently, Associate Pastor of Jefferson Baptist Church. Brandon was going to Bible College at Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary to earn his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Apologetics and Theology, doing street evangelism, and working at Starbucks when Pastor Dee asked if he would rather make disciples instead of coffee. He happily accepted.
Now Brandon spends his time teaching apologetics and evangelism to Jefferson Baptist, helping lead an evangelism internship, enjoying spending time with his wife Emma, and sons, Baron and Valor.
